Do you think placing a 72 unit low-income housing project on the commons area at 600 Wingfield St in the Village’s midtown tourism district is a great idea? If you answered NO and live in Ruidoso, please sign this petition to help show Village officials that this is not approved by their constituents. Then please show up for the Advisory Board / Counsel meeting this WEDNESDAY, December 18th at 8am.
We, the undersigned, are Ruidoso citizens who request our Village Councilors to vote against the development of the housing project at 600 Wingfield St in Ruidoso, New Mexico until a public citizen's referendum occurs.

We need a say in this! Dont just push it through without asking the people who pay taxes here. Keep the commons open.
The village needs to listen to the people who actually live here. Stop building in the middle of our tourism hub.
Way too much density for that area. Wingfield gets congested enough as it is. Council needs to wake up and look at the real issues.
bad idea. just bad.
This is a terrible spot for a project like that. It will kill the traffic and ruin the view for visitors coming to midtown. Find somewhere else.

Ridiculous. We dont have the infrastructure for 72 units right there. Why ruin our tourism district???
