We, the undersigned individuals, believe that the McKown House at 1501 Richcreek Road is a significant cultural landmark in the Crestview neighborhood and support its preservation. Therefore, we endorse its official designation as a historic landmark by the City of Austin in order to protect it from demolition and destruction.
I was born and raised in Austin,tx I lived in North Austin and Lanier and McCallum were the schools around there !! I know a lot of people that still live in the crestview area. Please don't take our past away from us !! Thanks James k.Lee.

What if the people in the neighborhood were to purchase this house and use it as a community center?

Why do they have to ruin everything in this city? Crestview isnt the same anymore if we lose places like this.

SERIOUSLY stop destroying all the old neighborhood charm. It makes me sad to see them wanting to knock down perfectly good houses.

This is a piece of Austin history! Shame on those that would tear it down.
