Airsoft is a reputable sport. Airsoft guns are not imitation firearms, they are a functioning non lethal air rifles and do deserve to be treated with proper gun educate. The misuse of Airsoft rifles is rare in comparison to the number of Airsoft rifles sold. The percentage of people who maliciously use knives or even cars is much higher. The fact is passing this law won't solve the underlying issue. Please don't take the safe sport of Airsoft away from the overwhelming majority people who properly use Airsoft guns. The sport of Airsoft teaches everyone safe and proper use and treatment which should be given to any firearm. Therefore reducing the risk of accidental shoots with real firearms. The benefits far outweigh any perceived risk.

As someone who owns airsoft and know people who do play I think it's ridiculous. I feel like this is paintball all over again. There are rules, referees, and above all else safety comes first.

Why the would you make airsoft illegal? The sport in itself isn't supposed to be harmful to others. It can help people to develop team work and other traits like communication etc. That and its a fun game. If people are doing stuff the shouldn't ok shooting at vehicles
driving by yeah of course arrest them but don't banish I for everyone just cause of a few doing stupid

protection to own firearms as well as imitation firearms is completely protected by the 2nd amendment. There's not one reason why imitations should be banned. of course our government will find a BS excuse to try and push this through.

Airsoft is not a crime .. People down get kills with these weapons . And it help us get ready for out future jobs . If you wanna be in the army you are trained with some knowledge. Many people have airsoft guns in maryland if they say that we can't have airsoft guns anymore than they will go off and but real guns .. Airsoft is a way to release ur inner dragon and to see how good you get
