This sport is a great tool for my family/friends to practice firearm training. We play safe, in regulated areas/fields and responsibly.

Airsoft and Paintball arefantastic sports! They should not be banned. Everyone who plays finds them enjoyable, including veterans, kids, average adults, teenagers, and occasionally elders.

I've been playing for several years now, and I can attest to how great airsoft is. Not only does it help create teamwork, integrity, and give somebody a fun way to exercise, but it also helps teach gun safety in a way that poses no possible harm to others when used in an appropriate manner.

Airsoft is something dear to me and alot of people, its a place where we can have fun and enjoy a fantastic activity.

This would also be effecting lots of scouts who shoot BB guns at a range in a safe environment where they are taught the skills and rules of safety.
This will put all the Paintball and Airsoft fields out of business in Maryland and where do you think all these players will start playing.
Education and working with local fields and stores should be the first steps. It would show that you care for both sides and not just creating a law based upon a few people's poor decisions. If you point something at an officer you should expect to be taken as a threat.

Just because some lawmaker wants to look good and look like they are doing something productive does not mean they should just shut down a sport/hobby that is already hard enough to do in MD.

This is nonsense, all this bill would achieve is further crippling the local and state economy of Maryland and surrounding areas. This would put many people out of work and move businesses out of Maryland.
