These are toys. And everyone involved in the games are willing to play and are fully aware they will get shot at by these bbs and paintballs. Everyone that signs up for this is okay with if. You know how many people I know that now do this instead of getting in trouble, including myself. I could be out on the street creating havoc, but instead I'm running around, having fun, and enjoying myself. And must importantly, not getting in trouble. I can't believe someone is really trying to take away and banned a game. They require all the correct safety equipment and they put rules in place for safety. Just like in any other game or sport. Why allow football, but not airsoft? Foot ball is way more dangerous than airsoft. And why cheerleading? Your telling me your going to let me throw a 70 lb girl 20 ft in the air with nothing to protect her head or teeth or anything else but you won't let a sport go on that requires your eyes, ears, and mouth to be protected and rules in place to keep me and others safe? This makes no sense. I could understand enforcing the orange tip on these tips to make them not resemble a real gun, but to take them away? Let me go tackle someone and give them a concussion, internal bleeding, and several broken bones, but don't let me run around a field with the proper ppe and play a game where I am safe. Yes accidents do happen but if that's the reason your gonna banned it, banned hiking, swimming, cellphones while walking, physical education, football, baseball, cheerleading, and almost every other sport or normal day to day activity. I understand that they look like real guns sometimes, but that's the reason for the colored tip. And regaurdless, we have a second amendment for a reason, so carrying any gun or toy that resembles one should be fine, given your following the laws. Okay, so kids take them to school. They are not allowed in school, so suspend that kid and take further action until the problem is fixed. This is just crazy.

I may not live in Maryland nor know anyone who lives there. But I know it's not fair for a state to ban airsoft and possibly paintball while other states can.

Don't ban airsoft. It is a sport just like football, tennis, golf, basketball, baseball, soccer. It's just like taking away one of those sports

As an Airsoft field owner this will put many businesses out of business. Look at this with open eyes to come up with a reasonable solution

Airsoft shouldn't be banned because of a few immature people that think it's a good idea to run around with airsoft guns. If you actually look at the sport end of it, it teaches peoplet how to communicate and work on a team.

Really taking a sport away from us for literally doing nothing we have a love for this sport the people who do this dumb stuff with Airsoft guns don't actually play Airsoft, this sport doesn't kill people but cars do, knives do, why are they not watched are you really going to take a sport away from us

If someone is brandishing an airsoft gun as a real firearm, then I see it just to punish them, but do not punish the people who enjoy the sport and play legally, it make no sense.

This is ridiculous! The government is full of scary cats who think all air softers do is walk around the streets with guns! The only reason that is what they think is because that is all the news chooses to publicize about the sport, and therefore all adults get a bad view of airsoft. There is so much more to airsoft than the idiots who bring their guns in public! If the media didn't only show the dark side, these bills wouldn't be popping up!
