Please don't ban this sport, there are many people that you could put out of business and if anything this would violate our second amendment right which states that we have a right to bear arms. Since you are calling airsoft guns "firearms" i believe these weapons are also protected under the 2nd amendment. Do not ban airsoft!!

Do not ban this great sport. The positives way outweigh the negatives. Increase punishment for those who brandish them as real, do not punish law abiding players/citizens, and most of all, do not destroy this great SPORT. You wouldn't ban baseball because someone got assaulted with a baseball bat, or golf because someone used a golf club to break a car window, would you? Then why ban our sport because of someone illegally using an airsoft gun?

This ban will not do any good. This sport shows more sportsman ship than any sport I've seen and also teaches good gun safety.

A ban is ridiculous. Teach your dumb kids proper weapon safety and teach them not to take them out in public because cops WILL treat them as real firearms. If someone is out messing around with an airsoft gun trying to intimidate someone, they deserve what's coming to them.

You'll be hurting many air soft/paintball communities if you close air soft and paintball

It's a sport. The guns are not real. Would you ban civil war reenactments?
Would you ban paintball?

Airsoft is a fun gun in fact it helps students stay off the streets and interact with other people who they normally wouldn't
