As a small business operator in another state - I am greatly affected by something like this.
Bills such as these have a ripple effect, and will greatly impact our entire industry and community in a negative fashion.
The loss of jobs, sales and business should be terrifying enough. Airsoft is more than a "bunch of kids with toy guns" - it is a countless number of jobs for people all over the country.
For some of us, we have made careers in this amazing and VERY SAFE sport - and these bills are a direct assault on all of us who are hard work, tax paying, bill paying, child feeding, home buying, local supporting AMERICANS.
To support this bill, is to support the destruction of jobs and opportunity, and is a clear support for unemployment on top of the destruction of a favorite hobby and sport for Americans.

It's a safe and enjoyable sport. Some have spend soo much money on their airsoft-stuff as well, their wolrd would crumble if they had to sell it all. And why criminalize people who just enjoys a sport?

This is more useless legislation for situations that there are already laws in place for. Laws that aren't being adequately enforced. Furthermore if a police officer pauses when an assailant has brightly painted his firearm to mimic a replica as defined by this legislation, he may be killed.

Why ban something over small issues. Would you ban spoons and forks because they transport food to the mouth and a lot of food causes obesity?

being an enormous fan of airsoft since i was 15 seeing the possibility of the sport being banned frustrates me. i serve overseas in the Marine Corps and have every intention to come back to maryland where my friends are holding onto my gear for me, and still go out and play and enjoy the sport.

If this passes it would put people out of work and ruin good sports. I'm from Minnesota so its not my problem but if laws like this continue it will be.

Airsoft is a sport of honesty, teamwork and community. It offers a place for young and old to bond and work together. It offers a place where skin color, body size, or beliefs can not hold you back. Please keep this sport alive
