We the undersigned citizens support Lunenburg County Libraries and express our disapproval of the dismissal of 31 year veteran librarian Roberta Rickers at the Ripberger Public Library. Additionally, we do not support the hiring of a new manager to oversee both the Ripberger and Victoria libraries part-time, leaving neither facility with a full-time librarian. Furthermore, we request that Lunenburg County review the expenditures of Southside Regional Library and make sure the monies spent aren't unfairly attributed to the Lunenburg portion of the annual budget.
