The quality of education I received at long view high school far surpasssed that which I would have received staying at my traditional high school, assuming I wouldn't have dropped out. Long view was my Last hope. I have since gone on to furthering my education in health care and becoming an increasingly Woman. Long view taught me the skills I needed to become the best person possible. "Relocating" students is a nice term for giving up on them, these are students who need support and care along with guidance and true educational Experiences only long view can provide for them.

Two young women I know we're able to graduate high school and move forward into adulthood with strong skills and confidence because of what and how they learned here. Had this been a program at another school rather than the autonomous school that it is, I know they would not have go sidered applying. The traditional schools were too overwhelming and felt like unsafe environments for them. They, their families and all of us who love them are so grateful for Longview and hope that it remains the amazing school it has been.
