Her column always is a must-read. Her writing is engaging. She finds Houston stories that you would otherwise miss. It is sad to see intelligent reporting punished. Keep Lisa's column!

I went to school with Lisa, and she's a class act. More importantly, SHE LOVES HOUSTON. I mean, seriously! Keep her column. I lived in Houston for 20 years, and it's everyone's worst-case example of sprawl, stretched infrastructure, urban planning (or not). Lisa does a beautiful job of covering it all, and you want to axe her column? Bad choice!

Lisa's column covers life in the city. In the long tradition of great urban newspaper writers, she writes about the people and places that make this Houston. It's hard to imagine how the Chronicle will be better without her Sunday column.
