I fully support saving Lambeth College in Brixton. As the next generation would be deprived of their essential education for life.

There will be a College in Brixton. This is all complete nonsense. The college facilities in Brixton were being underused anyway and what was not being used was falling apart as the building is so old. A new college facility is being built on the same site. Have a look at the website: http://www.lambethcollege.ac.uk/about-lambeth-college/noticeboard/re-building-your-careers-college/#showpopup This petition is totally misleading

Free schools are about introducing the free market in education. We must stop this experiment now.

The closure of the college will be a loss to all Brixton residents and setting up a free school adds insult to injury.

Having taught a number of students at university from Lambeth College who would never have made it were it not for the excellent efforts of teachers at Lambeth College I'd strongly urge that the College's provision in the area be not just maintained but expanded. We don't want yet another potentially dubious free school.

We do not need local people's money to be spent on a "Catholic ethos free school" anywhere in Brixton. I live in the catchment area for this school but could not ever send my children to a school with the "ethos" of a religious group who teach a narrow and misguided morality and regard LGBT lives as sinfull. I am offended by this and angry that local secular people's money should be spent on this I was brought up as a Catholic so I know what I am talking about. Even worse that this school should be built on Lambeth College land, depriving the area of desperately-needed further education provision for young adults. Please do not let this happen.

Removing FE provision from Brixton when youth unemployment is over 1m is a shocking decision which we must fight on every level
