We honour and thank the Treaty 8 Nations and the Mountain Metis as our community partners and traditional inhabitants of the lands of Jasper National Park. In answer to a reuqest to extend the license of occupation at the present site for the Jasper Heritage Rodeo (JHR) the Field Superintendent of Jasper National Park Alan Fehr said that Parks Canada has decided to "discontinue the Jasper Heritage Rodeo after one more year". (after 2018) The JHR has been a part of Jasper National Park history since it inception in 1925. It is important to keep the heritage of our Park alive and available to residents and visitors alike. The Jasper Heritage Rodeo committee therefore request your signature in support of Jasper Heritage Rodeo.
