I fully support keeping Jasmine in the store. I remember when she was a tiny kitten found by an employee and rescued. Over the years it was fun to go into the store and see her and say hello. Sadly we no longer reside in Canmore but we're so happy to see Jasmine when we returned to visit family and friends.

Really, someone complaining about the cat in Home Hardware? Canmore is just getting weirder by the day, if you don't like the cat and it really bothers you that much, shop somewhere else!

Pet therapy is in place at many hospitals. Jasmine is our retail therapy at Canmore Home Hardware. One good reason we like to shop there.

Why let one complaint become a priority. This person may not like cats or could be a constant complainer. Let thd poor cat stay in his surroundungs ggat hd has become accustomed to.

There has been a cat in that store for many years, a cat that has been cared for & loved by many.
To the miserable, unkind person that complained go look in the mirror & ask yourself HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF YOU WERE IN THE CAT'S POSITION???????

Hardware stores, bookstores, feed and grain stores, lots of places are good homes for cats. They are beneficial in that they often catch mice and other harmful rodents and they mostly keep to themselves and like to be left alone to nap during the day. Humans who think they're entitled to an animal free existence are a much bigger problem than a cat in residence at the hardware store.

Leave the kitty at the store. It seems to like it there and feels like home. Some people should stop putting their nose into other peoples business. The cat is happy there!!
