She is a mouser and should be on staff list.

What is wrong with people? She is an attraction, not a distraction. KEEP THE CAT! The complainer can go elsewhere

There has been a cat living at the home hardware for at least 20 years. I love seeing the cat and there are no mice! A bonus! Much better than using poison. I remember being in a hardware store in Calgary... dog friendly place. My dog found a dead mouse on the floor and there was poison under the shelving! Having a cat makes the store a welcome place to visit and is a much better control of mice than poison!! Home hardware is Jasmine's home.

I am actually allergic to cats and sneeze every single time I come to HH, BUT would rather sneeze and see that sweet cat than not. I think it is the RIGHT of HH to have a cat. It reminds me of all the great cats in bodegas in NYC. They are an asset to the store but also to the people coming in. Cats calm people. Please keep the cat.

The kitty is part of the community and makes many people happy to frequent this store. We can't bubble wrap the world. Anyone with severe allergies should in good conscience be aware of this and take measures to safe guard their own health either by reading pet signs and keeping medication on hand.

Leave the cat where she belongs!

What an ignorant person for wanting the cat removed. She's people friendly and doesn't cause any problems. If this person has a problem with it then stay away from the cat, not remove it.

Jasmine must stay. She adds so much joy when a customer enters the store.

That is the sweetest, most docile cat I have ever met!! She loves people and is super friendly!! I choose to shop at this store over the big box store in Canmore because I know I can see her and give her a scratch! Please leave her be!!

There is no reason to uproot Jasmine. If the complainer doesn't like it, maybe they can frequent a different store

Jazzy has one of the sweetest dispositions I have ever seen in a cat and is so gentle and when I used to live in Canmore I visited her frequently to get my dose of Cat Therapy. She helped me through a "rough patch". She is such a treasure! Please do not remove her, she has become such an important part of the shopping experience at the store!

Love the personal feeling of Home Hardware, and the help I usually get there. I try to shop there rather than at Canadian Tire, whenever possible. I can't have a pet at home, so meeting friendly pets elsewhere is a delight, and I always look forward to seeing Jasmine the cat at the store. Hopefully she can stay there.

This cat has a happy home and it would be cruel to remove it

I love the Canmore Home Hardware cats! The cats symbolize everything I associate with Home Hardware: not a cookie-cutter box store but a place with its own unique character. It's a welcoming place with a human face where people care about their customers. Those are the reasons I shop at Home Hardware -- yes the store is part of a big franchise with all the benefits that brings, but the store itself has a strong individual flavour that makes it a real part of our town. It's a place where our neighbours work, where sales staff give individualized, careful attention to my concerns, a place where there is a sense of community, a place where people care enough to give a cat a home and a job (the cats keep the mice out of the store room, welcome kids and people to the store). Please don't ban the cats.

Been going to home hardware in Canmore since I moved here. Love the cats. My son especially does and asks to go there instead on Canadian Tire just to see them.

Please leave Jasmine where she is. Our local Home Hardware is a welcoming place to shop and Jasmine is part of this. I love seeing her in the store. Perhaps the complainant could consider shopping elsewhere if Jasmine's presence isn't to her liking?
