I have shopped in this store for the 23 years that Ive lived in Canmore. They are super friendly, professional and helpful there and I LOVE the cat. I love the small town feel of dropping by your local store when something is needed. That feeling is in part because of the cat. That is what keeps me shopping there instead of the box box Canadian Tire. If you cave to one complaint about the cat and ignore the hundreds of loyal shoppers who love the stores vibe then you become no better than the corporate big box store.

She adds character to the store, and also is a valuable employee, greeting customers, catching the odd mouse etc. Let her stay!

Jasmine is one of the reasons I shop. My son has a mild cat allergy and we can't have pets but he also loves seeing and petting her. It's little things like this that make Canmore a special community. I appreciate that they give Jasmine a loving home. If someone is really allergic there are other big box options in our town.

Jasmine had been is part of the charm of Canmore home hardware .. please do not remove her .. it's one one the things that sets the store apart from Canadian tire ..

I live in Banff and look forward to going to the Canmore Home Hardware just for the cats. Theyre so friendly and dont bother anyone. Their home is Home Hardware

I would much rather see Jasmine and other cats at Home Hardware, then worry about coming across a mouse, or see mouse traps all over the place! If someone doesn't like the fact that there is a cat in the store, then perhaps they should shop elsewhere!
