The YMCA swim team helps my daughter to have more confidence in herself. My child has learning disabilities and the swim team helps her to Believe in herself, to be a part of a community, to give the best of helslf for her team.

This swim team means the world to a very special friend of ours. It brings her tremendous joy, a sense of accomplishment, and power in her body. Keep the swim team for her and all the other swimmers!

i have been swimming at the Y for 40 years, and was always happy to share with the swim team. I am quite surprised that this is be considered. It seems to go against all that the Y stands for in this community. What are you thinking!?

i am a regular swimmer at,the y, 3-4 times week, and in the last year I've had to circle once, for 5 minutes. That is to say, there is always a lane open for me. The swim team impacts negatively not at all. The y is for families and kids at least as much as for everyone else (I personally don't have kids that go there). Let the Dolphins live!!

This swim team is everything to my grandchild. This is the kind of activity we should be encouraging. Shame on you!
Why? What would be the purpose of dropping the swim program? That's messed up.

The YMCA and the notion of swim team are one and the same. What is the board thinking? It would be like taking the main ingredient out of a highly nutritious meal. It makes no sense, people.

I fail to see the foresight in considering eliminating such a wonderful, healthy and community-building institution as the Dolphins especially when our youth have so many negative distractions such as the proliferation of electronic gaming and opioids tempting them and threatening to undermine parents' efforts to teach good choices.
