A beautiful and historic building. It was built to serve its local community, which is where it must stay.

I was born in Crouch End and still live in Clifton Road. I am 52 years old and remember well when The Town Hall was a central part of this community. I attended shows, fairs and fetes in this building. I believe this historic building is too important to lose and should be run by the community for the community. Given its perfect position at the very heart of what is a truly creative community it would be a really amazing place and could be a hub of activity and creativity that would mirror the talent that is here in Crouch End.

The last year has shown what great things can be done in the Town Hall for locals of all ages. Would be criminal to lose that.

An important and well run community led centre. How can we lose a place that provides a base for the community to come together?

I was lucky enough to perform in this beautiful place for 2 months. Would love to see more people enjoy it this way.

Perfect location for a community serving centre for arts, music and theatre. It needs money for sure but also real vision

The Hornsey Town Hall Arts Centre has the potential of becoming one of the greatest Arts pavilion in North-London. Horsney can be proud to see this beautiful building available once again!

I also live on Hatherley Gardens and I most strongly object to this sort of thing. What if these privateer types stop me tossing off my good friend Mr Harry Balls? It'll ruin my livelihood

This is an outrage! It is a wonderful cultural asset to the community. And you can get tossed off for a fiver in the toilets. The council need to think carefully before disposing of such an asset into the private market.

Please allow Hornsey Town Hall to be a hub for the community, it's an integral part of the area and exactly how this grand old building should serve it's areas residents

This is an arrest to the community of not just crouch end but north London. Steeped in history and could easily become the creative hub of the community like it once was! Losing this building will be a travesty for future generations.
