It's very wrong that Haringey Council are trying to sell the Town Hall to developers who will ruin the area, cut down trees and concrete over the green. Must stop this from happening.

We got married in the Hall a fortnight ago and it was TREMENDOUS. The boys running it are doing a grand job and the Hall has become a living part of Crouch End - just what the creative community needs. It would be tragic, indeed, if such a great building were taken away from the public who currently fill it.

the town hall should not be put in a private developers hands. It should be used for the community. I feel that council members were elected by the community for the community. In this matter they have not only failed but have disgraced the job they have promised to do.

an amazing venue that should stay as a community venture giving locals the opportunity to unite, evolve, sing, dance, craft with the local people enabling us to give back to our community in a way that we locals want.

This building is a piece of history in the heart of our community, and Crouch End is one of the few areas of London that retains a sense of community. Please help us to keep it a public space and not sold off to be turned into yet more flats for the wealthy!
