We strongly object to the town hall being sold to developers. Please keep it for the community of Crouch End!

This unique building must be kept in public use as a community asset at the very heart of Crouch End. I am outraged that the Council are considering disposal the building without any proper consultation with local residents.

I think it is vital that the Town Hall is kept in community use and not just turned into more flats, which Crouch End does not have the infrastructure to support.

I fully support the delay in disposing of the Town Hall until further consultation has taken place.

I am a resident of a borough that needs to respect its landmark buildings - irrespective of their architectural merits. Think beyond the politics of the bulldozer.

The community needs this building - it shouldn't (once again!) be just about money

It would nice to see the right thing done, not the most short term profitable.

It would be a complete disgrace if this building, which belongs to the community, were to be sold off for short-term profits. I thought Haringey were supposed to be a Labour council!

We must keep this beautiful building in the care of the local community, for their use and enjoyment.

The town hall is such a unique community asset. It seems illogical to sell off a building which has the potential to bring communities together when communities around the world are falling apart. Something's are more important than money!

William Reader Williams saved the green space in Crouch End in Victorian times. It is used for sport and we are so grateful. The time has come for us to consider future generations and conserve public space for public use. City dwellers need space to meet and add value to their lives with creative activities. This is a public building and must not be snatched away for private use and profit

The town hall could be a vital community project and the square a community market am A private developer would kill the community spirit. There is little space for parking, schools etc for those of us who already live in adjoining roads...which are over crowded...

keep keep keep lets not let more of our past vanish into yet more flats, let's use it constructively and positively for the community
