I thought Government sponsored "The Big Society" and encourages communities to run their local social enterprises....this sounds like a good opportunity to do so. Why then is Harringey Council not supporting us? AM

We need more of this not less.
Another block of expensive flats will not have the same beneficial effects upon the local community.

to develop the town hall into something that could be used by the community would add to the appeal of Crouch End

Honoured to be able to sign this petition. A unique and impressive building that needs TLC and deserves it.

essential to save this community asset rather than sell to see private sector partner make vast profit and return "token" facility back to the community

The town hall belongs to the community. Crouch end is a much better more community minded place with the town hall at its heart.

Selling this off is a truly terrible idea. Act in the public interest, like you're supposed to.

It's been used as a great community resource for a long time now. There must be an absolute commitment to keep it as such.

it is important that a building of such importance and central to Crouch end remains a local facility and community ownership is ideal.
