You will be destroying our village. Having the Town Hall open during the Crouch End Festival totally lifted the event, and brought people together then and now. Invest in this space, invest in us

To all those reading this at Hornsey Council, please preseve this building, it is part of our history and will reap much longer term financial rewards than turning a quick buck to by selling it to the developers. Please look to Hackney Council as an example of how to turn a similarly decrepit building into something truly magnificent in Stoke Newington town hall..

The Town Hall was built for the local community & should therefore benefit the local community not shut up or sold off.

The building is too beautiful to not share with the community and be used to bring people together.

the local people do not want it sold to private developers, it's the prime space in Crouch End for community. Go and have a look at the small Hornsey YMCA any weekday around 4-5pm, how crammed it is with afterschool activities, there litterally no space, maybe something like that could go on there as well. There is loads of outside space and no passing traffic, it could be used so in so much better way. I do not want to see it sold off, that would be disasteours for the community spirit.

Too many historical buildings in this area are being sold off to the detriment of its local character and charm. Let's stop this happening in the very centre of Crouch End.

This is a valued local landmark & source of civic pride. Let's find creative solutions to its conservation rather than the default of selling to housing developers

The Town Hall should be kept for the community - not handed over to wealthy property investors.

Iconic building and landmark providing breathing space in the heart of Crouch End. Great to see such passion from the local community in striving to protect it from falling into the wrong hands!
