Let's return Dare Home Health and Hospice to its previous excellence from within. I feel that selling it to a private agency will result in worse health care for our most vulnerable Dare County Residents!

I can’t say enough about hospice, my husband had ALS and passed. In December. Hospice was there for me and my family every time I called them. Please keep them in Dare County.

The community is going to surface in the long run. They need this service. The OBX takes care if it’s own but not if they sell the agency.

So sad that the Commissioners have chosen greed over the health and welfare of their low income community that serves the tourists who bring wealth to Dare County through purchases and through occupancy tax. This is shameful.

I have had the need to use these services twice in the past 2 years. What a blessing the Heath Care workers were in keeping me sound and well. Please do not allow the Home Health Care to be dissolved.

The idea that because it doesn't pay for itself makes hospice something ripe for killing locally is ridiculous. We need this service and shouldn't have to pay a for-profit company to come in and take it over.

Losing Our county HH&H would be a big huge loss for county residents. Money can’t buy the support, care and compassion that Our Dare County Hospice staff showed to my mom and my family when we all needed it the most.It was a great blessing not to be left with big medical bills after my mom passed as well. Please keep this great service for those who need it

I moved here from Brunswick County NC. Which had fund raisers to help with the upkeep of hospice and volunteers to help.

The work they did with my dad was beyond compare. For profit companies can NOT compete. I have personal knowledge of how they operate. NOT GOOD!

Home health was a blessing when my mom was elderly and needed assistance. Dare County consists of many older population that will need this service.

I have had cancer twice in the past and may at one time need Hospice Service. It would be a disservice to the people of this county to loose this caring local service.
