This program should be a priority in our community! We saw what happened when the child support program was farmed out it. It would be terrible to see the same thing happen to this valuable resource for our community.

Please keep Hospice and Home Healthcare as a Dare County service.

I want the Dare County commissioners to start thinking of residents and stop making every decision about tourism and big money. You are continuing to force residents out of Date County. Soon there will be no permanent residents to work here. Keep HH&H local and improve local relations and help our local workforce. We have enough outside influence.

Home Health and Hospice takes care of my mother. They have been doing so for the past few years. Every nurse and caregiver is patient, caring, respectful, easy to talk to and oh so helpful. Momma is 88 years old and has dementia, mostly bedridden, and several other problems. Some days she doesn't know where she is but one of the home health ladies can come in and she immediately calls them by name and smiles. These home health workers are essential to Dare County's elderly and we need to keep it local and under county control. Sincerely,

This is a government function that should not be turned over to a corporate for-profit venture.

We need to keep it here. under county control. No one cares about our own, but our own.

We do not need more wasted funding for beach nourishment or facilities for meetings that do not get used but a few times per year!!! We do need hospice and home health care to be be kept in the county.

They are the best! Took really good care of me last year after my loss of part of my foot. Let's pay the nurses more. They deserve it!

It is unfortunate is that the majority of the residents who would most likely like to speak on behalf of keeping the program under the counties ownership are homebound, actual dying hospice patients who are unable to make signs, show-up, and voice their concerns. Hopefully enough of us can go to the meeting and be their voice. The voice of the locals. The voice of the dying. The voice of the uninsured. Sign. Share. Show-up and bring someone with you.

Dare County Hospice was a godsend for my mother and is a valuable service. I hope it can be saved for future generations!
