The Board of Trustees of the Hockessin Montessori School has decided to abruptly end (after 2 years) the Middle Schools Erdkinder program with no thought on how it would negatively affect the school
as a whole. The Erdkinder program consists of 2 goats and 16 chickens. The students care for the animals, sell the eggs, and educate the younger students about our animals.When the students return to school in the fall the animals will just be gone. One more piece of normalcy taken away in our new normal.
Please help us make them see the value of our program, help them see that it is more than sanitation and liability.
