Graduated 1978. Keep front of school incorporate into new building. Hudson losing to much History. Oviatt school torn down. What will be left of the original town? What next old Main Street to make Rt 91 in town wider. Charm of town slowly disappearing.

The set back from Oviatt Street and the historic front facade should be maintained.

What a hole this demolition would leave in the Hudson landscape and in our community's heritage!

This building has meant so much to so many. If demolished it will be the last of demolition for the school district and the quaintness of the district and in turn Hudson will be lost. Save our school by using it in the new buildings plans.

Do not tear down the original 1927 building. It's architecture can not be matched today, and is something students should learn to appreciate with the correct guidance. You are teaching the young generation that everything is disposable, even our US History.

Do not tear it down. Completely gut the interior if need, but leave the original 1927 section shell intact. You owe it to history, and the residents who live in Hudson and close proximity.

Who wants it? Teachers and administration! Replace with a huge parking lot is absurd. How much "it will only cost a homeowner of a $100,000......" will we hear from you and the bleeding heart letters in the Hub?

Demolishing the old part of the middle school for a parking lot, will seriously impact the look of the Historic District. The school district and that school should have to follow the rules of the historic district. Once all of the old architecture is gone, it is gone forever.

This building is part of the history of Hudson schools. My mother, Mary Pace was an assistant principal there, beginning the vocational education facilities. I was a high schooler there. Unless the building is structurally unsound, PLEASE find a new use for it.

This school has so much history it should not be destroyed

That school is older than me (class of 1965). I think it epitomizes historic Hudson and celebrates all the students who went through the school system. Leave it alone.
