My father, brothers, sister and I all attended this high school. I come back frequently to Hudson because I love the historic town and to show my children where we all grew up.

please retain this historic building. There are historical plaques on homes. Why not this school? Also have a home in Hudson at 8075 Valley View in addition to the home listed below in Silver Lake.

I am from Western Europe but have lived in Hudson for over 16 years. Europe's rich architectural history could only happen through historic preservation and appreciation of the past. Civilized communities do not tear down & demolish architecturally significant buildings that help provide a sence of time & place to a community. Two of my children have recently attended the middle school with two more to go. Although renovations and modernizations are clearly neccesary, they should and could be achieved while at least preserving the facade of the building.

This a beautiful building and should be continued to be as a school. The inside could be remodeled. Hudson is unique because of its preservation of historic structures.

This is a classic old design and our new school buildings do not give me comfort that they would look as good.

We are former presidents of Hudson Heritage Association and residents of Hudson for over 17 years. We live nearby at The Inn at Brandywine Falls and still support Hudson businesses and citizens. It is a unique community according to the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and the historic buildings should be preserved. Two of our sons graduated from Hudson High School when it was located in what is now Historic Hudson Middle School. It is important to the Oviatt St. streetscape. Please preserve the beautiful property.
