As the Arts continue to be eradicated in public education, our City needs to step up to make the Arts available to all.

Performing gives children confidence and Clark/Heller may be the only place for many children to participate in the arts since the education budget has already been cut to the bone in Tulsa.

This program ran on a lean budget but delivered excellent entertainment while instilling qualities in the young actors that prepare them for life. Please save this valuable program.

The theater experience, wherever it may be, contributes to a greater sense of empathy toward others. Other mediums fulfill this goal, but theater is different. It encourages its participants to actively indulge in the process of feelings and attitudes---attitudes that they'd probably never experience in the bubble of their own lives.

This program does a lot for the kids of Tulsa and surrounding communities. The Parks Department always seems to get cut the most. Time to look at something else for a change.

It's a shame to see a theatre close down because of stupid budget cuts. Thanks a lot mayor Bartlett for trying to destroy cultural infrastructure!

The more I learn about this theatre and the connection it has with so many of Tulsa's fine performers the more I've learned to speak out for its continuation! There is a spider web connection with all of the theatre in Tulsa and this theatre seems to be a primary strand. Please keep it in place.

As an alumni, I can attest that these programs can be positively life changing. The skills I learned at Clark have helped me in my adult life and in my professional career as an actor. More importantly, the community provided at Heller and Clark was a much needed safe place of inclusion and a better anti-drug than any PSA shown in school.

We really need to start focusing on Art and not athletics. History has shown us, that when art is put in the foreground, and sports in the back, we have a significant boom in science, and culture. The fact that we keep throwing more and more money into school sports, while cutting funding for the arts, shows that our priorities are messed up.

This camp was a godsend to me and more importantly my daughter Zoe. I do not know what we would have done without this camp - it helped my daughter find her "voice" and built up her self esteem that has helped her through middle school. It gave her the courage and tools to be able to speak up in day to day life. Again, to cut this theatre would be a HUGE loss to the Tulsa Community.
