Grogan's is a special landmark for people all over the Dallas/Acworth area in Georgia. We do not want to see it go! It has been here for many years and has brought several memories to a variety of people. People here have grown up seeing Grogan's Grocery every single day and it is truly a great landmark. Don't take away this special store! This area has developed way too much already! We want to keep at least a portion of our history! SAVE GROGAN'S!
I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people care about this place as much as I do. Seeing this kind of support feels surreal because it really proves just how much Grogan's means to our community. This momentum belongs entirely to you.

That store belonged to my aunt Glenace Grogan. Every day as children we all walked to the store and got a coke candy bar and bb's for our BB guns. we all have a lot of fond memories and stories to share.

~The Lost Mountain Grocery Store was preserved, why not give the same consideration to this landmark, Grogan's Grocery Store.~

From what I know, they are only relocating it. I don't like the idea of moving it at all though. I would love to see that place in action, as a biscuit place (as someone suggested) or simply a country store. People can donate old artifacts or pictures from old paulding county to hang on the walls.

That entire parcel of land contains a great deal of local history.
