My Gran was well cared for when she was here a few years back. The carers were wonderful with her, and they were also lovely with my Mum when she was there with Gran. Please don't close this home.

Garth Olwg were fantastic with my dad who was terminally ill, caring and professional, the staff clearly care, the building was homely and clean, it's criminal that RCT are planning this closure

Absolutely disgusting. They wouldn't do it if it was their own family. All about figures and lining their pockets. Where has humanity gone??

My grandmother used to work here and it is such a friendly place. Would be awful if it was to be shut down

There so many new houses being built around the area, whilst the demand is so high with the amount of houses already in the area

Save Garth Owlg. Absolute staple of the community. It would be an absolute shame if RCT took this amazing home away from the local community to ship those people where? further away from their families and friends and the place they know

I have lived in Church Village for 30 years and have never heard a bad word about this care home obviously the dedicated staff have contributed to the happiness and well being of its residents this surely speaks volumes.

A wonderful home. With an ever increasing aging population and insufficient provision of community social care what is going to happen to the elderly who worked hard and funded the NHS and local government through all the tax they paid. Are they not owed comfort and high standard care and dignity in their twilight years?
