The Veterans Administration has officially halted the land disposal for Fort Howard. We have secured the property for veteran use and prevented the commercial development project. I will continue to monitor the subsequent restoration of hospital services to ensure they meet our requirements.

I have spent this week drafting formal letters to the Veterans Administration to demand transparency regarding their disposal plans for this property. Local representatives have begun reaching out for documentation on the proposed residential density impacts. We are currently compiling our findings to submit as a comprehensive counter-proposal to the zoning board.

The traffic down North Point Rd is already a nightmare. Where do these people think 1800 more families are gonna drive to work? Its a terrible idea and it hurts the vets who need this care.
Our veterans sacrificed so much and now they want to kick them out for profit? Disgraceful. Fix the hospital and keep it for the people who actually earned it.
My dad was stationed there back in the day. Dont sell out our heroes for more luxury condos. This place should be used to help the guys coming back from overseas. Leave it be.
KEEP THE DEVELOPERS OUT. Fort Howard is for the vets end of story.
I live right down the street and we are already way over capacity. Those wetlands cant take that kind of construction anyway. Keep the hospital open for the veterans who gave everything.

Save the Ft. Howard property for the Veterans who have earned it!!! Please leave the property alone. We dont need more people living on this peninsula it is getting way too crowded and congested as it is. They already built houses right next to Hart Miller Island on wetlands and marshes. What happened to save the bay and wetlands?
