I spent the entire morning at the rink watching the kids practice and thinking about how empty this place will feel without them. We are currently scouting for local officials who are willing to listen to our concerns about the future of this facility.

My own kids learned to skate at this rink and the thought of losing that ice breaks my heart. We are almost at one hundred signatures so please post the link on your own social media feeds right now to help us clear that hurdle.

it would break my heart to see this place gone. My first kiss was here, along with my first date!! My little cousin grew as a beautiful champion figure skater here, and she also needs this rink along with the other skaters and hockey players.
this is one of the only recreational facilities left in this town. people wonder why there is such a drug and alcohol problem. ever think it's because there's not enough recreational things for kids to do around here?
i have played here for 10 years and worked here for 5. This kids are a huge part of my life. On any other day I will refuse to get up at 5 am but when it is to coach these kids I have no problem because they are the future.
My son has been playing hockey here for a few years now. He has learned to ice skate, and learned to play and love the game of hockey from the wonderful coaches that have worked with him. He is heartbroken at the thought that he won't be attending anymore.
My family and many others depend on this rink. It is a true shame that uber wealthy Hunterdon County can't put kids and families first. We are loosing business and rarely gaining. Clearly something is not right. This is a true community center for hundreds of families and thousands of kids.

It has taken 11 years to build up the hockey and figure skating programs to what those programs are today. Now is the time to keep the momentum going! Save our rink!
