We don’t need anymore housing around here. Leave the farmlands alone there are fewer and fewer now people see the dollar sign and there goes the land. These roads and schools are not going to handle anymore

As growth continues in Knox County, it is more important than ever to protect agricultural land from being converted into residential or commercial developments. Once farmland is lost, it is gone for good. This increases urban sprawl, and places additional strain on roads, schools, and public services.
Rezoning farmland for non-agricultural use prioritizes short-term development over long-term sustainability. Preserving these lands ensures future generations will continue to benefit from local agriculture, open space, and a healthier environment.
I urge Knox County officials to protect farmland by maintaining agricultural zoning and rejecting proposals that would lead to its permanent loss.

We do NOT need apartments , condos, town houses or anything else out in four - way in!!!!!! The roads are NOT big enough for the traffic that would bring!!!! It’s bad enough as is!!!! Ninety nine percent of these back roads are nothing more than paved tractor trails and cars barely have enough space to pass one another now!!!! More do we need MORE people here where our community is struggling to contain the people we have now!!!! We don’t need more people!!!! I can also say with 100% certainty, for all of the people that live in this area, if we wanted to live in magnolia like conditions we would move to magnolia!!!!!!! Keep the government subsidized housing units, apartments, ect OUT of our community!!!! There are TONS of buildings in other parts of the city that could be fixed and used for that purpose!!!!!!!

Please stop the Carter area developments. We want to keep our area rural. We do not have the infrastructure to handle more traffic without it affecting everyday commutes. We do not want to be West Knoxville or we would live there.

I am not in favor of building apartments or townhouses of this magnitude but would rather see single family homes instead. This location is not favorable to support such a large number of additional automobile traffic currently being requested by this developer.

No more over crowding the schools, it takes away from our kids learning and puts way too much more pressure on the teachers. The more students, the less the teachers get to connect with the students, those bonds are what help find the learning disabilities and provide emotional support for the students. Our community has had enough. First it was that hideous industrial park off Thorngrove now these houses that are on top of one another and built way to fast to be safe and sustainable. I wish people would/could be more selective on who bought their property when selling it. No more selling to contractors. So much has been taken away from our little country community already how much more will be.

This area of Knox county is the only undeveloped area left! We don’t need more houses and subdivisions there’s to many people here the way it is!!! Not to mention the traffic from all the people tryin to move here from these big cities who have never drove a car before. God isn’t making any more land so let’s leave what little bit of beauty we have left alone!!!
Stop the out of control development!
