Converting arable land to housing is not the way to do it. The developers want the land that is easiest to develop, but that food producing farmland is more essential than ever.

We need leadership that understands land use and planning to protect rural areas and has the political will to implement it countywide.

Please stop this. Our schools and community are already over crowded with all the other housing complexes going in. There needs to be changes made in many other areas before this should ever be considered.

I have lived in this community my entire life 57 years. This is not Knoxville ! This is Strawberry Plains. This complex will be nothing but a burden on our community. This is a classic case of a wolf in sheep's clothing. A family purchased this land that were from elsewhere. They dont care about our community they are doing nothing more than selling out for proffit and move to a rural area with the proffits. Just shows you cant really trust neighbors any longer. Get this stopped our roads and schools can not handle this type of unwanted and very poorly thaught out development. Only people that stand to gain anything from this is the owner of the property and the greedy tax collecting city of knoxville which will pad pockets to anex the area after all this stuff is built ! Get it stopped ! The entire community is against this project !

This idea is horrible for the community. The community does not have the resources to support. The schools, roads, sidewalks, grocery stores, etc.

The only rational decision is to just say no! Save our community.

We don't need anymore development in our area. I've lived here for over 20 years and I've always liked the way it's been and I don't want it changed now.
