As an Egyptian who has endless love for world's heritage and ancient cultures, i support the independence of NINO and support giving credit to its original staff without letting others control them or their work. Much love

I know NINO and its Library and appreciated much its consultation a few years ago. On the other hand I know many colleagues who work or workes there and advocate its continuation as an institution which proved efficient over near one century.

NINO has been an excellent research institution. Its library is a gem. Dismantling it would be a big mistake. I hope the decision makers realize the shortsightedness of the proposed plan.

This very important specialised library for international scholarship focused on the area which has very significant importance for historians, archeologists and biblical scholars. It is place where are coming students and scholars from all around the world. I have explored its resources many times and I can't imagine that this special place could disapear from map of my academic travels.
