You have to consider safety of our citizens including children. This would be to close to senior/disabled housing and the discovery center which children and families are. Also, about 2 blocks away is church that has a school for elementry aged kids.
Keep the park as it is!! Building this would hinder the area for us citizens and also anyone wanting to visit Clinton. Build this somewhere on the outskirts of town so the people who are more vulnerable are not put in harms way. Or even where that hotel on Lincolnway ( by farm & Fleet) is being tore down would be a better location than the park.

Do not sell this park to cause more problems. The future plans are bleak, to say the least. The anticipation of the overflow of chaos that will transpire from this building cannot be imagined. We do not have enough police officers in the city to handle what waves of crime will come.

Way too close to where children play and safety of senior citizens should be considered. Should not be built on public property!

The YWCA and the city of Clinton need to rethink this build. If it fails in the next 34 years, does the Y and City have the funds to refund?
4.4 million is a lot of money and the odds are not good for this project to succeed!!

This housing project is completely inappropriate and irresponsible to put anywhere near children (schools, Children’s Museum, park) or vulnerable individuals (seniors and disabled people). Also, this is a park, do not take away land that has been set aside as green space. Seriously, this facility/housing project should be moved so it’s nowhere near anyone to keep the community safe. Be PROACTIVE with safety, not reactive!

I have nothing against the homeless I feel they need a place to live, but I feel there is other places that could be used or to be considered for this area. My other concern is, is there gonna be enough money to actually run this place after it’s built

You have got to be kidding! There is senior housing there and now you want to put housing for criminals and other misfits? Go pound sand!
