Dear Friends:

After 30+ years, the indoor tennis courts at Minerals Hotel - Crystal Springs Resort are in danger of being demolished and replaced with a large convention space/banquet facility.

This would be a great loss to both the guests of the Crystal Springs Resort and its members. We would be losing a key amenity to our Four Diamond resort. Management has "floated" the idea of building a tennis facility in an area near Grand Cascades Lodge. If this is the case, we feel that the new facility should be in place prior to the demolition of the courts at Minerals.

Please sign and circulate this petition to let management know that we do not want to lose our tennis courts.

We the undersigned are dismayed at the prospect of losing our tennis courts at Minerals Hotel and call upon Management to continue to provide this amenity

Sincerely,

Tennis Enthusiast

Reaching this point has been exhausting but seeing the support coming in confirms that I am not fighting alone. It is heavy work to keep this going while management stays silent but your commitment keeps me moving forward.

Being able to play tennis at Crystal Springs year round was the driving reason why I bought up here. I am beyond disappointed to hear about this. I hope management reconsiders.

There are a lot of Minerals sports club members who pay for membership purely to enjoy the tennis courts; they also bring in substantial revenue upstairs at Kites restaurant/bar. The tennis courts provide a unique community atmosphere to many locals and it would be tragic to close them down without any kind of replacement in sight. Some sensible thought is needed to invest and develop this asset rather than closing it down for yet another ballroom!

I have been a member for over 30 years and the major reason is because of the tennis. I have recently become an instructor as well and have been working with Brad Scheller to help fill the courts. Don’t take it away!!!!!

Very unhappy to hear about this. The indoor tennis courts were the main reason why I purchased at Cascades. As an upscale resort, please provide alternative venues to play.

The courts are an absolute must in a 4 season resort. They need to be invested in not destroyed.

Use the adventure desk for tennis. Make sure everyone is paying. It can make money. We love our tennis plus we spend a lot of money upstairs. Expand at Crystal it's a fancier venue.

These courts mean a lot to a lot of people who show up to play during the week and every weekend .
