Corfe Mullen Youth Centre is at risk of having its funding stopped or reduced by Dorset County Council.
This youth facility, in Dorset's largest (and growing) village, is vital in the development of its children. As a non-uniformed youth organisation, the centre offers a range of age groups a place to go and take part in various activities, ranging from social nights, to a 'Tall Ships Experience' recently and an ongoing Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. The centre offers an alternative to youth groups that require the purchase of a uniform and term fees, therefore making it an inclusive group, crossing social divides and encouraging integration of all creeds, abilities or disabilities, religions and sexual orientations.
We, the undersigned, call upon Dorset County Council to confirm continued and full funding of the Corfe Mullen Youth Centre, at the earliest opportunity.

WE ARE BLASTING TOWARD 100 SIGNATURES AND THE MOMENTUM IS ABSOLUTELY ELECTRIC!! CRUSH THAT BUTTON AND HELP US HIT THIS HUGE MILESTONE RIGHT NOW!!

dont just save it, but make better use of it. CMYC is where i spent most of my time out of school and was awesome back in the 80s was never empty and had plenty going on. Modernize, and grow but keeping it going should be the number 1 priority
All my children have benefited from CMYC. In a time when young people are criticised for not doing enough activity away from Internet, computers and social media it is very wrong to take away places and support like this excellent service
This has been part of my life for at least 40 years. I used it, my kids used it and no doubt their kids will need somewhere safe to develop their social skills away from School and the xbox. Closing this would be a BIG mistake!
What could be more important, giving our youth and next generation a chance to be off the streets and building a foundation for their future and enjoying recreation or bowing to the cost cutting mania of our duly elected councillors.
i went to this youth centre over 30 years ago and my daughters now go there Closing this makes no sense when there is hardly anywhere for teenagers to go Perhaps they should all go to the pub and start drinking early instead that would cost the council more in the long run

This is a very popular place for our young people to socialise and learn in a happy safe environment , we don't want to see these pushed on to the streets . My daughter loves coming here, she has difficulties but this has given her the confidence she needed to flourish .
