He is a very good coach who has the best interest of the school and the players. His record speaks for itself. Maybe replacing the principal would be a better idea......

Coach Shad is an outstanding man of character and integrity. Although I don't have a son who plays football or a child who attends BHS, Coach Shad coached one of my daughters for AAU basketball. Our entire family supports him and his family! He is one of a kind!

Thank you for taking time to read and sign this petition and coming to our page. We want to cordially invite any and all concerned community members to join us for discussion tonight (February the 19th ) at the National Guard Armory. It is our hope that we can find a way to peaceably resolve this matter while protecting the academic and athletic excellence that is Blackman High.

I grew up knowing coach shadowens because my brothers played football for him. He is a great man and an amazing leader and role model for students.

Please keep a great man and one of the best coaches in the great HS football state of Tennessee. If you do not keep him he will go to Oakland and defeat Blackman at least once a year, twice if Blackman is lucky enough to make the playoffs. If the new Principal has anything to do with it Blackman will be demoted to a Flag Football school.

Philip is first and foremost a good man. He is a fine example for the young men he coaches and should be allowed to continue to build on the relationships he has started at Blackman if this is his choice. His philosophy has always been to put the child before the game.
