The causeway is a fantastic nursery. They were amazing with my daughter when she went there and helped mould her into the wonderful little lady that she is today. I would have hoped to send any future children I may be blessed with to this nursery so would be very sad to see them close!

My niece goes to this nursery, it's taken her a while to settle in but now she has and she absolutely loves it here. It would be heartbreaking for her to have to leave and be separated from the friends she has made there and with the nurseries workers. It's so important to her family and I'm sure to all of the children's family that they have a place their children can go where they know they are happy and safe.

mine were there for 3 years til school, lovely building, lovely grounds, cant believe its being let go!

This is ridiculous. Where are these parents suppose to find childcare at such short notice not to mention the distress and anxiety it will cause when it takes some children many months to settle into new surroundings. At a time when the government want to get as many parents back to work and off benefits surely it is financially better to pay the funding than pay out more benefits for those parents that may have to give up their jobs!!! If it really has to close then surely they can help to keep it open until the summer to give parents more time to find suitable childcare and not just the first setting that has a vacancy and to help those children that will be starting school in September and really shouldn't have to go through the upheaval and distress for such a short time.

no nursery should close. As a nursery owner myself the government should be helping us keep these nurseries open. As there are not enough around. To cope with all the children as new people coming in from EU are purring a strain on an already strained seevixe

Can't believe this fantastic nursery is closing, and leaving us with such short notice to find alternatives. My 2 sons will be devastated at having to leave, I work full time and it is going to be very difficult to find nursery places for them in the short timescale given.
