Unfair, in an area where nursery spaces are short and with so little time to find suitable alternatives. surely if it is to be denied funding this should happen with the new school year so the older ones don't have to change for a matter of a few months. My child will not cope with this change before starting school. And I would like more time to.find a suitable place for my younger child too. Childcare is hard enough when you work. The causeway has been both good for my kids and for me.

My 1 year old boy only started in January but has settled in brilliantly. The staff are friendly and helpful and he loves being there - no tears in the morning, he's really bonded with his group leader. The thought of trying to find him somewhere else to go after he's settled in so well is really upsetting.

My daughter has been in attendance since September 2013 and will be absolutely distraught at having to change for matter of months before school. As far as my daughter and I am concerned this is an exceptionally good nursery and one which should never have to close due to the poor judgement of some inspection or inspector who has no actual experience of the brilliant staff or beautiful work they do.

An appalling decision, typical of a council and owner who appear to show a total lack of understanding of the widespread effect this will have on the children who attend.

This is such a sad situation that this and other nurseries are having to close due to cuts in funding so distressing for the little ones

please save this fantastic nursery, childcare is already hard enough to find, why unsettle children who are happily developing and being cared for in lovely surroundings by lovely staff who will also lose their jobs adding to the unemployment rate!
