The Save Casterton campaign, via Casterton Parents Ltd and their spokesperson Sarah Short, is about to pursue a claim against various parties regarding the takeover of Casterton School by Sedbergh School. If we are successful, the merger can be reversed and Casterton School can survive. We have had advice from three separate barristers and a QC that says we have a very strong chance of success in this action. This advice was used to support our application for insurance to cover our costs, which we were successful in obtaining, so the legal action will not cost us anything as individuals. It seems that the other side believe that Sarah Short is a lone voice and that the campaign does not have the support of parents and other interested parties. Please will you sign our petition to say that you support the campaign to Save Casterton?
