In the heart of Grand Anse, St George, Grenada is a leisure spot where for decades families and friends have made many memories.
Unfortunately this area is under attack by our own Government who are willing to give it away to the owners of a hotel in the same area.
During this time we must all work together to demand that the Government of Grenada corrects its mistake and repeal this project.

We the undersigned; the people of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique oppose to the proposed relocation of the almost thirty years old Camerhogne Park, to facilitate the expansion of the Riviera Hotel. Our concerns are serious and we call upon the Government of Grenada to cease further action of this upcoming project so that we may contiue to enjoy one of our most beloved public leisure spot and the only one left in the Grand Anse area.

Please Please save it..Our families need it..further generations needs it. If USA saw it fit to invest in Central Park...Why not us to...to invest in our own...its our thing our culture...If we lose this space we lose the beach as well...
It's not only about losing a park, it's about locals losing premium access to the best beach on the island. Why should we be reduced to using allowed roads and tracks? This is not what the law intended! Give us premium access to OUR beaches!
As a frequent visitor to Grenada, I would like to see this park saved. I do not go to Grenada to see the beach lined by one hotel after another with no access for the locals and public to access the beach, as what has happened in other islands.
Carmahogne park is a landmark to me. As a young girl I used to hang out with my friends and family there. I can't imagine putting it somewhere else. It just won't feel the same. Some things should never be for sale. Preserve Grenada's beauty!
We care about the park and the magnitude of happiness it has brought us over the years. Tourists would rather the park than another hotel on the beach. It is the only piece of nature left lining grand anse beach. Please don't remove it.

My Family and I use this park on weekend, We need our own piece of the best and recreational areas for our piece of mind and well being, sporting actives and I've been to at least three birthday parties in that location in the last five months.
