This clown has been a cultural icon since I was a little kid, and I can't imagine Middletown without it. It's like taking Riverside Gardens away from Red Bank, or the PNC Bank Arts Center away from Holmdel. You just can't do it.

There is too much concrete in the world today, specifically in New Jersey. Time is of the essence to save "Calico the Clown" today !

Calico belongs forever in Middletown. He's not far from where Penelope Stout hid in the hollowed tree.
