The council just confirmed the office is staying open because they simply could not ignore the response from this neighborhood. I am honestly stunned by this result and I know for a fact that none of this would have happened without your help. We should stay alert to ensure these …
Dublin City Council Office which is located on the Cabra Road is to be closed due to cutbacks. Staff are to be reassigned and local people in Cabra will need to go to Finglas or Sean McDermott street branches. Cabra Sinn Fein is totally against this and has set this petition up to give the local people of Cabra a platform to air their disagreement with this closure.
I am honestly a bit overwhelmed by the way the neighborhood has come together over this office. It is clear that this space is vital to so many people and seeing that reflected in the feedback here is humbling.

Typical. Cut corners on the stuff people actually use. Cabra needs this spot.

My mam goes there all the time for bits and pieces. Getting to Sean McDermott street is a total pain for her. Hands off our local office.

Another service taken away from us. They never think about the elderly who live here and need to walk to these places. Pure madness.

Joke of a decision. Dublin City Council need to cop on and look after the residents first.

ABSOLUTELY NOT. Leave our local office where it is. We pay our taxes and deserve to be served in our own area.

This is ridiculous. People in Cabra rely on that office and not everyone has a car to get all the way to Finglas. Keep it open!
