The abutters to the Cabot Park off leash area (OLA) have banded together and are initially attempting to close or move the Cabot OLA. An attempt by the Park & Rec Commissioner is underway to somewhat remedy the situation of excessive barking by placing restrictive Cabot OLA hours, buffer screening, signage, etc. If you are a regular Cabot OLA we are attempting to gathering names and email addresses for the formation of a Cabot OLA supporters group The hope is that the users will band together to keep the park from closing down. The neighbors have indicated that they are in the process of hiring an attorney in order obtain peaceful enjoyment of their property by closing down Cabot OLA.
