I am currently gathering archival photos of the factory to present to the local planning office. Post a photo of the sign on your own Facebook page today to show the council that this history still matters to our neighborhood.

Cette usine était plus qu'un lieu de production et de distribution de voiture, c'était une entreprise humaine et sociale où les gens œuvraient dans la joie et la bonne humeur.
Owner of a Triumph Spitfire that has been in Seneffe back in 1978 & do have papers about it. Last year when it was the day that it was 36years ago that my Spit was there, i drove up to Seneffe to 'bring it back'. Was great to see the sign, the bl sign on the side of the factory & even the lines that where painted on the parking lots back in the day. Was pretty amazed it was still all there !! I hope the sign will remain at his place, restored and cared for, as this is a great thing for guys that love BL cars.
Hello, I'm a great BL,Austin Rover,MG Rover fan since the 70's.My brother and I have owned 16 cars of BL,MG,Triumph,Mini,Rover, and we still own 7 of them ! I used to go to Seneffe in the late 70's only for the pleasure to see all those BL cars on the park.My brother and I still acquire old BL cars now,and the latest is a 1977 TR7,(chassis ACG17048L)original belgian car,with conformity certificate signed in Seneffe in march 1978.I really try to find many informations as possible on this car,and probably his Seneffe life....If someone has informations about TR7 in Seneffe,i would be very pleased ! Thanks a lot and hope the sign "LEYLAND INDUSTRIES BELGIUM" will be saved ! Philippe
Conservons ce souvenir de la dernière usine d'assemblage automobile ayant existé en Wallonie.
This in an important part of both Belgium's and Britain's motoring heritage and deserves preserving for future generations - I really hope the authorities can do this as maybe the first step to a more formal memorial to the Leyland workers of Seneffe.
Ik heb zelf een british leyland Clubman estate die gemaakt is in deze fabriek. Leuk als het bord zou kunnen blijven staan😉

als ex MG Rover verdeler die in 1978 via mijn vader british leyland ontdekte zou ik het zonde vinden dat dit stukje geschiedenis zou verdwijnen, hopelijk helpt deze petitie daarbij.....
