This is a tragedy. A wonderful service to the community is being tossed aside. Good honest people will lose their livelihood .

Save this butchers. We need to keep independent family shops.this has to be THE BEST butchers in the North East

could it be anything to do with what was said in the chronicle about still only paying the same as what they did 15 years ago? maybe holding out for the same kind of deal?, im no expert in rented business premises but renting a house has more than hiked in that time...this is why i say there's more to this than we will ever know so jumping to conclusions is all everyone is doing and its spreading vicious lies and hurting the community, we need to know both sides of the story to be able to judge what is really going on.

Don't you find it strange that both the butchers AND the hairdressers lease ran down to the last 6 months? It's a heck of a coincidence of maybe there's another explanation.

That's funny. One minute NISA try to distance themselves because it is independently owned but now you believe they were going to pay for a new butchers.
