An expanded convenience store at the expense of a an independent butcher's shop is not good for anybody bar the Nisa chain & not good sense.

Local business's create a close community, big stores like Tesco Asda and Nisa destroy local business.

A good traditional Butcher who has served the community of Low Fell and Gateshead for a long time. And deserves to continue to do so.

Clearly the local community do NOT need or want a bigger Nisa. We want and need Hunters to continue trading. A lot of consumers prefer to shop at quality outlets which are very hard to come by now. Hunters have been a long established premises for a long time for a long time simply because if the volume if customers who shop there. We want a choice when it comes to shopping . Nisa are two a penny which sell generic goods. Long live the high street.

I am in total support of Bob's as it is a big part of the local atmosphere and we cannot allow business's to simply over through the smaller!

Every year Bob's have regularly and faithfully donated to my child's nursery events, unlike Nisa. We need to save the businesses that matter.

I want to see more diversity and more independent, successful businesses in Low Fell, not a load of chains.
