By starting with having a Family Dollar Shop in Blue Hill we will go down the road like most towns are in USA - we have to preserve the specialty of what Blue Hill is right now - we can never bring it back once we start this devastation.

Blue Hill is a lovely historic village with many wonderful "green" ways to shop and help others. WE DO NOT NEED OR WANT A DOLLAR STORE!!! If someone wants to shop in one they can drive 20 minutes and find one in Ellsworth.

This kind of store is not needed or appropriate in Blue Hill. It is a low budget, Chinese product, tacky and cheesy store that should find a large strip center, an abandoned one and fill it up, somewhere else.

We don't need everything everywhere. People that want to shop at places like this should go to Ellsworth or Bucksport. I think adding more chain stores would make Blue Hill less appealing to tourists. And it would be less appealing to me as well.
