We need all the support we can get to save OUR neighborhood park! Meaning, if there are hearings, you need to show up. Signing the petition is only the first step!

Facts:

A school for 800 students plus staff will:

• increase Traffic even more
• add another traffic light to Blake Lane and Bushman Dr. (how else can we accommodate 800 students plus staff plus parents and buses hauling their children)
• destroy our green space
• take away refuge for so many wildlife species
• Property value can drop up to 10% !!!!!
• pollution will increase
• possible flooding in our area, if there is no park and trees which absorb the water, the water has to go somewhere...

To save our Blake Lane Park we need to put in the effort now! If you have ideas, or some time on your hand to communicate it to your neighbors, friends, please do so, we need a lot more signatures and a lot more coverage to be heard. The Providence Community will move forward with this project coming November!

Please, lets try to save our park together, it is become clear that this park is loved and used by so many just by reading the comments.
